The "No-Zone"

Saskatchewan is proud to be the first Canadian province to introduce the No-Zone program. In partnership with SGI, CAA, Saskatchewan Safety Council, SPDSC and the RCMP, the Transport Compliance Branch has developed a variety of educational media to help get the message out. Don't hang out in the NO-ZONE.

What is the No-Zone?

Big trucks have big blindspots - and to stay safe, you should avoid them. The No-Zone refers to blind spot areas around big trucks, where crashes are most likely to occur.

Trucks have deep rear blind spots. A trucker can't see you if you are in this No-Zone - especially if you are tailgating. If you can't see the truck mirrors, the driver can't see you. Stay well back of big trucks to avoid rear end collisions.
